About

I received my PhD in Philosophy at Yale in 2013 with a dissertation about Kierkegaard and Plato, supervised by Karsten Harries. My main philosophical interests are in 19th century philosophy, ethics and aesthetics. I've also studied literature and a number of foreign languages.

From 2016-19 I was an assistant professor at National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow.

Since 2020 I live in Warsaw and work as a freelance writer and a copy editor for academics and artists. I still occasionally contribute to academic journals and volumes.
