About

I received my PhD in Philosophy at Yale in 2013 with a dissertation about Kierkegaard and Plato, supervised by Karsten Harries. My first book, Kierkegaard and Philosophical Eros, was published by Bloomsbury in 2021. As an undergraduate, I studied Philosophy and English at Lund University and UCLA. Over the years I've also studied French, German, Hebrew, Russian and Modern Greek, and I am a heritage speaker of Polish.

From 2016-19 I was an assistant professor at National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow.

I now live in Athens and work as a freelance writer and a development- and copy-editor for academics and artists. I still occasionally contribute to academic journals and volumes.
